About

My name is Devon and I started 3D printing in 2014, because I was lucky enough to join a robotics team that owned a 3D printer, and have been doing so ever since, however, my love for 3D printing started long before that. Years ago, when I was probably around twelve or thirteen my dad showed me a YouTube video of a Ted talk where a man was talking about this extremely fast 3D Printer as it was printing behind him. This machine finished printing something the size of a soft ball in ten minutes! I had heard of 3D printing before this and was somewhat interested in it but this video intrigued me and it was that moment when I started to actively research 3D printing and learn everything I could. It took a bit after that before I was able to save up enough money to purchase my first printer, a Prusa i3 MK3. Since then I have improved my printing, sanding, and painting skills so I can bring my favorite things from TV and video games to life, which I have done multiple times now.
